Hood Partners with The Religious Freedom Center
网红爆料 is delighted to be one of the partner institutions collaborating with the 鈥淩ace, Religious Freedom and the Politics of Belonging鈥� program. On October 29th, the Religious Freedom Center in partnership with Virginia Union University鈥檚 School of Theology will host the program 鈥淩ace, Religious Freedom, and the Politics of Belonging鈥�. This public conversation will focus on the complex politics of race and religious freedom in this country. This program serves as the launch event for the Religious Freedom Center's three-year Luce-funded project with Historically Black Theological Institutions (HBTIs) to develop curriculum on African Americans and Religious Freedom. Participants are invited to a reception prior to the program. The program is free and RSVP is required, as there are limited seats available. Register . Individuals who are unable to attend the launch event in-person will be able to join us via on the Newseum website.
Also, is open now through December 1, 2018 for the REL 700 course. The course cost for students enrolled with HBTIs or other invited organizations is covered by the grant.
